Advanced Institute of Technology (ITMA), UPM has organized "Intensive Workshop on High Impact Journal Publishing" on April 3 and 4, 2019 at Klana Beach Resort, Port Dickson. The workshop was jointly organized with UPM Education & Training Sdn. Bhd. A total of 20 participants from ITMA consisting of associate researchers, research fellows, post doctoral, research officers and graduate students participated in this workshop.

The first day of the workshop began with a lecture by Dr. Mohd Hafiz Mohd Zaid from Faculty of Science. Participants were given talk on the creation of impactful manuscripts and the writing process to the delivery of manuscripts to high-impact journals. After the sharing session, the workshop is continued with the participants’ writing session. The workshop rests in the evening for check in and dinner before the workshop resumed at night.

On the second day, Dr. Hafiz continued the sharing session with a briefing on the process of submitting manuscripts to high-impact journals. Dr. Hafiz also gave tips for selecting journals that are relevant to the participants' article topics. The article writing session resumed until the evening, where participants submitted the selected article titles and journals before the workshop ends.
