SUNGAI PETANI, 15 August – Institute of Advanced Technology (ITMA) Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Nizar Hamidon together with ITMA Visiting Scientist, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ertugrul have visited Magna Value Sdn. Bhd, a trading company specialized in the battery, fuel cell, nanotechnology, and analytical instrument located at Sg. Petani, Kedah.

This visit was intended to explore collaborative opportunities in analytical equipment development to fulfill the needs of local researchers. ITMA intends to build a network with any potential industry for expanding research activities that meet the needs of both parties.

The two-day visit was occupied with fruitful discussions. At the end of the meeting, the company keens to co-operate in the development of the Sputtering System especially in terms of consultancy.
