SERDANG, August 22 - The Institute of Advanced Technology (ITMA) in collaboration with the Sensor Technology Development Association and the Faculty of Science has organized a “Sensors in Medical, Agriculture and Environment” workshop in conjunction with the international symposium, iSAMN2019 which was held recently.

 The invited speakers were Associate Researchers of the Functional Device Laboratory (FDL), Prof. Dr. Nor Azah Yusof and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jaafar Abdullah. Besides them, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Latifah Munirah and Dr. Ammar Zakaria from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP), Dr. Nurul Hanun Ahmad Raston from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM),  Dr. Lee Keng Yee from Ministry of Health (MOH) as well as Dr. Asilah Ahmad Tajudin from UPM were also invited as speakers.

A total of 20 participants comprising staff and students have participated in this workshop. This two-day workshop was fulfilled with lectures in the morning at the Seminar Room, ITMA and "hands-on" sessions in the afternoon at the Chemical Laboratory, Faculty of Science.
