ITMA encourages staff and students to improve their self-performance

SERDANG, March 12 - ITMA hosted a webinar titled "Self-Maintenance and Improvement: No One is Perfect" to encourage staffs and students to improve their performance, particularly in light of today's challenges.

Prof. Dr Mohd Nizar Hamidon, Director of the Institute of Advanced Technology, gave an opening remark to kick off the programme organized by the Material Synthesis and Characterization Laboratory (MSCL) (ITMA).

The event was then followed by a motivational session by the invited speaker, Ms. Siti Maisarah Alias, an independent facilitator/counselor from Setiu, Terengganu, which was moderated by Associate Professor Dr Che Azurahanim Che Abdullah, Head of MSCL.

A psychological analysis of human personality traits, behaviour, and potential talent was presented by the speaker. Based on the shared personality traits, participants were also given some tips on how to improve their self-performance, which will help to increase organizational effectiveness.

Participants were introduced to a personality assessment test based on date of birth at the end of the programme, which received a positive response from 120 participants, including UPM students and staff as well as other institutions.
