SERDANG, April – ITMA Students and Researcher won one Gold, one Bronze, Special Jury Award and the Best Poster at the Agricultural & Food Technology Innovation Competition (MSAE 2021) organized by the Association of Engineers and Food Malaysia (MSAE), UPM on 23 March 2021.

The presentation entitled “Biogenic Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles Revolutionize Malaysian Crop Plants” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Che Azurahanim Che Abdullah, Lau Gee Een and Muhammad Naziff Ahamad Said won the Gold Award.

While the Bronze Award was won through the presentation of a poster entitled “Biogenic and Photocatalic Titanium Dioxide-Based Nanomaterials for Sustainable Agriculture” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Che Azurahanim Che Abdullah, Muhammad Azri Muhammad Yusop and Roshasnorlyza Hazan.

The special jury award was received through a presentation entitled “Green Synthesis of Gold Nanoparticles from Cocoa Waste for Potential Colorimeter Based Pesticides Identification” by Assoc. Prof. Dr Che Azurahanim Che Abdullah, Ahmad Kamil Mohd Jaafar, Princess Nurhazeera Iqbal Azaham, while a poster entitled “Green Sustainable Nanomaterials Fertilizer Application Release for Agriculture” by Emmellie Laura Albert, Prof Dr Che Azurahanim Che Abdullah, Dharshin Perumal was selected as Best Poster.
