Serdang 18 June 2021- A sharing seminar on internship training delivered by Pasona HR Sdn. Bhd entitled Remoting Japan Internship 2021 was held online on 18 June 2021.

This seminar is a collaborative initiative of Unit Jaringan Industri dan Masyarakat ITMA and Materials Synthesis and Characterization Lab, ITMA led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Che Azurahanim Che Abdullah. This seminar was held for 3 consecutive years since 2019.

The main aim of the remote internship program is to strengthen the Asian culture via educational program such as industrial internship and to open opportunities for participants from developed countries to learn Japanese services strategies  and gathered skills and expertise from Japan companies.

The objective of the seminar is to expose participants to the available internship opportunities offered by Japanese companies. Besides, this seminar aims to disseminate more information regarding industrial internship such as the internship schedule, amount of allowance given, companies location and the application process. All this information will help participant in making choices for their internship journey abroad instead of the available opportunities in Malaysia.

The seminar started at 10 am attended by 102 participants . Mr. Mike Chua from Pasona HR Sdn. Bhd delivered his presentation on the remote internship program with Japan companies specifically elaborating the criteria and application process, the benefits and other related matter on the internship program.

The two hours seminar ended with a question and answer session between Mr. Mike Chua and participants with the help of a representative from Japan Pasona HR, Ms. Modori Noiri. Positive feedbacks were received from participants that showed their interest in the remote internship program which will be carried out by the interns reporting to their respective employer in Japan via online platform. The remote internship program is projected to commenced in September 2021. Selected interns will receive a sum of allowance paid by their respective Japan companies.

ITMA is keen to organize similar seminar in the future to continuously promotes industrial network and also disseminates available opportunities to whoever interested to join the remote internship program with Japan companies.
