SERDANG, 4 March – Nine of Associate Researchers of Materials Processing and Technology Laboratory (MPTL) shared their expertise through an online program entitled MPTL Online Seminar 2021.
The program was organized in a series from 9 February and received warm responses from UPM students and staff as well as external institutions.
Various interesting topics were explicitly presented in the field of material processing and technology hosted by Dr. Siti Zulaika Razali.
The topics presented were Bionanocomposite Materials for Potential Food Packaging Applications by Assoc. Prof. Dr Siti Hajar Othman, Electrospun Nanofibers for Biomedical Applications by Dr Norizah Abdul Rahman, Geopolymer: Ancient Materials with Potential Applications by Assoc. Prof. Dr Norkhairunnisa Mazlan, Functionalization of Graphene Oxide by Gamma Ray for Anticorrosive Coatings by Assoc. Prof. Dr Norazowa Ibrahim, The Lignin-less Cellulose by Dr Dayang Radiah Awang Biak, Fluorometric Immunoassay for Detecting the Plant Virus Citrus Tristeza Using Carbon Nanoparticles Acting as Quenchers by Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohamad Amran Mohd Salleh, Utilization of Graphene in Fuel Cell Device by Dr Nordin Hj Sabli, Carbon Nanomaterials: Functionalization and Applications by Dr Faizah Md Yasin and Corrosion Inhibitor from Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunch by Dr Shafreeza Sobri.
It is hoped that this kind of sharing will be a dissemination knowledge platform that benefits all participants and promotional space to researchers.
